I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and moved to Vermont in 2020 to attend Middlebury College. With my lifelong interests in design, the built environment, and making things, I came in knowing I wanted to study Architecture, but along the way also ended up majoring in German while taking classes in anthropology and literature as well.
In school, I had the chance to work on an affordable housing project in the heart of Middlebury in partnership with Habitat for Humanity. This invaluable experience taught me a lot about the architectural design process and I loved getting to work so closely with the clients, builders, and architects on a project that would have such a direct positive impact in the local community.
Toronto and Vermont could not be more different, and though four years ago I would never have expected to stay in Vermont after graduating, a year spent studying abroad made me realize just how much I had fallen in love with the mountains and rural environment. While I do plan on pursuing an M.Arch in the future, Iām super excited to be living in Burlington and working at DWA!
In my free time, I like to crochet and knit, cook with friends, spend time outside, and read.
