Born in Michigan, and after a few family moves, my folks settled down in Springfield, Vermont, and there from the age 10 on, I spent the rest of my quasi-adventurous childhood.  After graduating with high honors from Vermont Technical College, I worked a year at a local engineering firm to save money, and then continued my architectural education at Roger Williams University.  During my studies there I spent a semester abroad in the London Theatre Program where the scales almost tipped to change my major, but after a fireside chat with my father, my practical senses took over and I decided to stay the course.  I graduated from Roger Williams University with a Bachelor's in Architecture and a Minor in Theatre, and headed for Burlington.  My love of theatre drew me to become involved with Lyric Theatre Company where my face was often seen onstage in the mid to late 1990's & early 2000's.  I also worked behind the scenes in a number of shows, including two set designs.  It was at Lyric Theatre where I met my wife, and hence we now have three active children.  Thus, I’ve had less time for theatre and more time for fatherhood.  Currently, besides enjoying my work here at Duncan-Wisniewski Architecture, I enjoy spending time with my family, being active at our church, traveling, camping, hiking, biking, etc.

I've had the privilege of working for Bob and Michael since 1999, and in more recent years for our current principals Sam and Taryn.  What I enjoy most about architecture is working with clients, and designing solutions that work specifically for them, which are energy efficient, have order and aesthetic appeal, and hopefully some unique character that they can call their own.
