Project Steeplebush included a demolition of an existing one story attached garage and a highly energy efficient and compact addition of a new garage, living room with basement, and a primary bedroom suite on the second floor. The challenge was to maintain the quaint cottage scale while providing sufficient new space with a highly energy efficient envelope and HVAC system.
